Bangkok & Pattaya trip, questions answered.
November to February is the best time for this Bangkok and Pattaya tour. Days are drier and cooler, which suits temple sightseeing and the Ayutthaya day trip, and the sea is calm for the Coral Island speedboat. Peak season runs from 20 December to 10 January and is the busiest and most expensive period. March to May is hot, and June to October is the rainy season, with showers and fewer crowds. The itinerary works all year and your designer adjusts timings to the weather.
Six nights works well: four nights in Bangkok for the temples, the river, the Ayutthaya day trip and a free day, then two nights in Pattaya for Coral Island and beach time. The drive between the two cities takes about two hours. You can add nights in either city.
Bangkok is Thailand's capital, with gilded temples, river life, shopping malls, rooftop restaurants and street food. Pattaya is a beach resort city about two hours away, with island day trips, spas, seafood and easy beach time. Together they give you culture first and relaxation second.
Yes. Add nights in either city, extend to Chiang Mai, or continue south to Phuket and Krabi for an island week. Our Grand Thailand Journey already combines Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Krabi in 9 nights. Your designer will redraw the route and the price with you.
No. Prices are land-only, per person on twin sharing. We can add flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and other Indian cities to your quotation, often direct to Bangkok. This journey is planned to arrive and depart at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Indian passport holders are currently able to visit Thailand for short tourist stays without a visa, but rules can change. Your designer confirms the latest entry requirements before you travel and helps with the Thailand Digital Arrival Card at no charge.
Never. Every transfer, guide, boat and table is reserved for your party alone. There are no coaches or joined groups on this journey.
Yes. Private cars, guides and boats let you set the pace, which suits couples, families with children aged 2 to 11 and senior travellers. Days can be shortened, temple walking reduced and rest time added. Tell your designer about mobility needs or celebrations such as an anniversary or honeymoon.
Yes, on request. Tell your designer about dietary needs when you enquire and meals, including the Ayutthaya and Coral Island lunches, are planned around them.
The Grand Palace and most temples require covered shoulders and knees, and clothing that is not torn or see-through. Carry a light scarf or shawl and wear comfortable shoes that are easy to remove. Your designer will brief you before you travel.
